Uniform Distribution of Hardy Sums

We employ the spectral theory of Eisenstein series to prove that the Hardy sums, integer-valued analogs of the classical Dedekind sums, are uniformly distributed in $\mathbf{Z}\mathrm{/}m\mathbf{Z}$ for any integer $m>1$.
