An observation concerning highly ramified $\epsilon$-factors

In this note we prove a quantitative stability result for the $\epsilon$-factors associated to generic irreducible representations of ${\text{GL}}_n(F)$ under twists by highly ramified characters, where $F$ is a non-archimedean local field.
