If is a topological space and is any set then we call a family of maps from to nowhere constant if for every non-empty open set in there is with , i.e. is not constant on . We prove the following result that improves several earlier results in the literature. If is a topological space for which , the family of all continuous maps of to , is nowhere constant and has a -base consisting of connected sets then is -resolvable.
