Separating Subversion Forcing Axioms

We study a family of variants of Jensen’s\emph{subcomplete forcing axiom}, $\mathsf{S}\mathsf{C}\mathsf{F}\mathsf{A}$ and \emph{subproper forcing axiom}, $\mathsf{S}\mathsf{u}\mathsf{b}\mathsf{P}\mathsf{F}\mathsf{A}$. Using these we develop a general technique for proving non-implications of $\mathsf{S}\mathsf{C}\mathsf{F}\mathsf{A}$, $\mathsf{S}\mathsf{u}\mathsf{b}\mathsf{P}\mathsf{F}\mathsf{A}$ and their relatives and give several applications. For instance we show that $\mathsf{S}\mathsf{C}\mathsf{F}\mathsf{A}$ does not imply ${\mathsf{M}\mathsf{A}}^{+}(\sigma$-closed$)$ and $\mathsf{S}\mathsf{u}\mathsf{b}\mathsf{P}\mathsf{F}\mathsf{A}$ does not imply Martin’s Maximum.
