The Lüroth expansion of a real number x∈(0,1] is the series x=d11+d1(d1−1)d21+d1(d1−1)d2(d2−1)d31+⋯, with dj∈N≥2 for all j∈N. Given m∈N, t=(t0,…,tm−1)∈R>0m−1 and any function Ψ:N→(1,∞), define Et(Ψ):={x∈(0,1]:dnt0⋯dn+mtm−1≥Ψ(n) for infinitely many n∈N}. We establish a Lebesgue measure dichotomy statement (a zero-one law) for Et(Ψ) under a natural non-removable condition liminfn→∞Ψ(n)> 1. Let B be given by logB:=n→∞liminfnlog(Ψ(n)). For any m∈N, we compute the Hausdorff dimension of Et(Ψ) when either B=1 or B=∞. We also compute the Hausdorff dimension of Et(Ψ) when 1<B<∞ for m=2.
