Proper holomorphic maps between Reinhardt domains in ${\mathbf{C}}^2$

We characterize pairs of bounded Reinhardt domains in ${\text{CC}}^2$ between which there exists a proper holomorphic map and find all proper maps that are not elementary algebraic.
