Lemme de l'Ombre et non divergence des horosph\`eres d'une vari\'et\'e g\'eom\'etriquement finie

In this work, we prove the so-called “Shadow lemma” on geometrically finite manifolds of variable negative curvature. We deduce a result of non divergence of the horospheres of such manifolds.
