Rough Functional Itô Formula

We prove a rough Itô formula for path-dependent functionals of $\alpha$-Hölder continuous paths for $\alpha \in (0,1)$. Our approach combines the sewing lemma and a Taylor approximation in terms of path-dependent derivatives.
