Final State Interactions and CP Violation in $K_L \to \pi^+ \pi^- e^+ e^-$

Using chiral perturbation theory we calculate the imaginary parts of the $K_L \rightarrow \pi^+ \pi^- e^+ e^- $f o r m f a c t o r s t h a t a r i s e f r o m$ \pi \pi \rightarrow \pi^+ \pi^- $a n d$ \pi \pi \rightarrow \pi^+ \pi^- \gamma^* $r e s c a t t e r i n g . W e d i s c u s s t h e i r i n f l u e n c e o n C P v i o l a t i n g v a r i a b l e s i n$ K_L \rightarrow \pi^+ \pi^- e^+ e^-$.
