Heavy flavor spectroscopy studies at CMS

The CMS Collaboration has performed many studies in the field of heavy flavor spectroscopy. In this report, recent studies on exotic resonances in proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s}=13$ TeV at CMS are presented. For the exotic hadrons, these results include the first evidence for X(3872) in heavy-ion collisions and three new structures in $J\mathrm{/}\psi J\mathrm{/}\psi$ mass spectrum. Beside the exotic hadrons, we also found new decay channels in conventional beauty hadrons, including $B_s^0\to \psi (2S)K_S^0$, ${\mathrm{\Lambda }}_b^0\to J\mathrm{/}\psi {\mathrm{\Xi }}^{-}{K}^{+}$, $B^0\to \psi (2S)K_S^0{\pi }^{+}{\pi }^{-}$, and ${\mathrm{\Xi }}_b^{-}\to \psi (2S){\mathrm{\Xi }}^{-}$.
