Axisymmetric stability criterion for two gravitationally coupled singular isothermal discs

Using the two-fluid formalism with the polytropic approximation, we examine the axisymmetric stability criterion for a composite system of gravitationally coupled stellar and gaseous singular isothermal discs (SIDs).
