How an ${\omega }_0$ condensate can spike the speed of sound in cold quarkyonic matter

I describe a novel mechanism where the variation of an ${\omega }_0$ condensate can generate a “spike” in the speed of sound in hadronic matter. An ${\omega }_0$ condensate naturally increases the speed of sound; the real problem is how to get the speed of sound to decrease. I suggest this can happen through the appearance of a Quantum Pion Liquid.
