K-instability of hyperplane sections of Segre Varieties

We prove that a normal hyperplane section of the Segre variety ${\mathrm{\Sigma }}_{m,n}$ is K-unstable with respect to any polarization if $m\mathrm{\ne }n$ or it is not smooth.
