Partial wave analysis of $\psi (3686)\to \mathrm{\Lambda }{\bar{\mathrm{\Sigma }}}^0{\pi }^0+c\mathrm{.}c\mathrm{.}$

Based on a sample of $(2712.4\pm 14.3)\times {10}^6\psi (3686)$ events collected with the BESIII detector, a partial wave analysis of the decay $\psi (3686)\to \mathrm{\Lambda }{\bar{\mathrm{\Sigma }}}^0{\pi }^0+c\mathrm{.}c\mathrm{.}$ is performed to investigate ${\mathrm{\Lambda }}^{\ast }$ and ${\mathrm{\Sigma }}^{\ast }$ resonances in the ${\pi }^0{\bar{\mathrm{\Sigma }}}^0$ and ${\pi }^0\mathrm{\Lambda }$ invariant mass distributions. Significant contributions are found from the $\mathrm{\Lambda }(1405)$, $\mathrm{\Lambda }(1520)$, $\mathrm{\Lambda }(1600)$, $\mathrm{\Lambda }(1670)$, $\mathrm{\Lambda }(1690)$, $\mathrm{\Lambda }(1800)$, $\mathrm{\Lambda }(1890)$, $\mathrm{\Lambda }(2325)$, $\mathrm{\Sigma }(1385)$, $\mathrm{\Sigma }(1660)$, $\mathrm{\Sigma }(1670)$, $\mathrm{\Sigma }(1750)$, and $\mathrm{\Sigma }(1910)$. The masses, widths, and production branching fractions for each component are determined. In addition, the branching fraction of $\psi (3686)\to \mathrm{\Lambda }{\bar{\mathrm{\Sigma }}}^0{\pi }^0+c\mathrm{.}c\mathrm{.}$ is measured to be $(1.544\pm 0.013\pm 0.069)\times {10}^{-4}$ for the first time, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second systematic.
