The Radiation Gauge: When is it Valid?

In this paper, we shall show that the vector-scalar potential ($\mathbf{A}$-$\mathrm{\Phi }$) formulation, for many problems, can be further simplified by ignoring the scalar potential contribution and setting it to zero.
