We extend the so-called Kotani Theory for a particular class of ergodic matrix-like Jacobi operators defined in by the law $[H_{\omega} ]{n} := D^{*}(T^{n - 1}\omega) {n - 1} + D(T^{n}\omega) {n + 1} + V(T^{n}\omega) {n}T: \Omega \rightarrow \Omega(\Omega, \nu)D: \Omega \rightarrow GL(l, )$ is bounded, and for each , is symmetric. Namely, it is shown that for each , the essential closure of $_{r} := {x \in \mid2rA_z$ are zero coincides with , the absolutely continuous spectrum of multiplicity , where is a Schr"odinger-like cocycle induced by . Moreover, if is odd, then for -a.e. . We also provide a Thouless Formula for such class of operators.
