CPT Violation in $\boldsymbol{B^0_s}$--$\boldsymbol{\bar B^0_s}$ mixing and the measurement of CP Violation in $\boldsymbol{B_s\to K^+K^-}$

A simple analysis of time-dependent $B_{s} \to K^{+} K^{-}$ transitions, based on recent results from the LHCb experiment, is presented. The benefits of adopting a fully consistent theoretical description of the $B_{s}^{0}$ – ${\overset{ˉ}{B}}_{s}^{0}$ mixing are stressed. It is shown that bounds on CPT violation in the $B_{s}^{0}$ –$\bar B^0_s $s y s t e m c a n b e c o n s i s t e n t l y o b t a i n e d a n d t h a t d i r e c t C P v i o l a t i o n i n$ B_s\to K^+K^-$ can be robustly established, even in the presence of CPT violation in the mixing.
