Factorization in $S{L}^{\mathrm{\infty }}$

We show that the non-separable Banach space $S{L}^{\mathrm{\infty }}$ is primary. This is achieved by directly solving the infinite dimensional factorization problem in $S{L}^{\mathrm{\infty }}$. In particular, we bypass Bourgain’s localization method.
