Motivic equivalence under semismall flops

We prove that under semismall smooth flops, smooth projective varieties have (non-canonically) isomorphic Chow motives with coefficients in any noetherian local ring $\mathrm{\Lambda }$ by comparing the pushforward of the constant intersection complexes through flopping contractions.
