We report the crystal growth of a new hole-doped iron-based superconductor Ba(Fe0.875Ti0.125)2As2 by substituting Ti on the Fe site. The crystals are accidentally obtained in trying to grow Ni doped Ba2Ti2Fe2As4O. After annealing at 500 \textcelsius $ invacuumforoneweek,superconductivityisobservedwithzeroresistanceatT_{c0} \approx 17.5K,andabout20%diamagneticvolumedownto2K.Whileboththesmallanisotropyofsuperconductivityandthetemperaturedependenceofnormalstateresistivityareakintotheelectrondoped122−typecompounds,theHallcoefficientispositiveandsimilartothecaseinhole−dopedBa{0.9}K{0.1}Fe2As2.ThedensityfunctionaltheorycalculationssuggestdominatedholepocketscontributedbyFe/Ti3dorbitals.Therefore,theBa(Fe{1-x}Ti{x})_2As_2$ system provides a new platform to study the superconductivity with hole doping on the Fe site of iron-based superconductors.
