Let be two operator spaces. Arveson-Wittstock-Hahn-Banach theorem asserts that every completely contractive map $\varphi:V\to (H)\tilde{\varphi}:W\to (H)(H)$ denotes the space of all bounded operators from a Hilbert space to itself. In this paper, we show that this is not in general true for -operator spaces, that is, we show that there are -operator spaces , an space , and a -completely contractive map such that does not extend to a -completely contractive map on . Restricting to spaces, we also consider a condition on under which every completely contractive map has a completely contractive extension .
