Torsion points in families of Drinfeld modules

Let ${\mathrm{\Phi }}^{\text{l}}$ be an algebraic family of Drinfeld modules defined over a field $K$ of characteristic $p$, and let $\text{bfa},\text{bfb}\in K[\text{l}]$. Assume that neither $\text{bfa}(\text{l})$ nor $\text{bfb}(\text{l})$ is a torsion point for ${\mathrm{\Phi }}^{\text{l}}$ for all $\text{l}$. If there exist infinitely many $\text{l}\in \text{Kbar}$ such that both $\text{bfa}(\text{l})$ and $\text{bfb}(\text{l})$ are torsion points for ${\mathrm{\Phi }}^{\text{l}}$, then we show that for each $\text{l}\in \text{Kbar}$, we have that $\text{bfa}(\text{l})$ is torsion for ${\mathrm{\Phi }}^{\text{l}}$ if and only if $\text{bfb}(\text{l})$ is torsion for ${\mathrm{\Phi }}^{\text{l}}$. In the case $\text{bfa},\text{bfb}\in K$, then we prove in addition that $\text{bfa}$ and $\text{bfb}$ must be $\text{Fpbar}$-linearly dependent.
