Mod-$\mathrm{\ell }$ monodromy of double covers of ${\mathbb{P}}^n$ branched along hyperplane arrangements

We determine the mod-$\mathrm{\ell }$ geometric monodromy group of the universal family of double covers of projective space branched along hyperplane arrangements in general position.
