Global isometric embedding of the Kerr spacetime and beyond

We construct a new isometric embedding of the Kerr spacetime into $(5+7)$-dimensional flat spacetime. It is asymptotically flat, covers the entire $r>0$ region and has a very simple form. We also show how this embedding can be generalized to any spacetime admitting a Kerr-Schild-like decomposition of the metric.
