We construct the rotating counterpart of a black hole embedded in a dark-matter halo with the exponential-sphere profile , using the Newman–Janis algorithm in the Azreg-Aïnou form, and study its imprints on test-particle motion and quasiperiodic oscillations (QPOs). We derive closed-form orbital and epicyclic frequencies valid for any Kerr-like metric with a mass function and show that, to first order, the halo enters them only through its central density, acting as an effective cosmological constant ; the corrections are therefore universal for all cored profiles. The halo moves the innermost stable circular orbit outward and produces an outer boundary of stable orbits, while the sign of the frequency shift depends on the assumed equation of state of the halo. Fitting the relativistic precession model to the simultaneous QPO triplets of GRO~J165540 and XTE~J1859+226 with Markov-chain Monte Carlo sampling yields spins and emission radii consistent with Kerr and and (95%), respectively. In physical units these limits exclude only ultra-dense dark cores, ~g,cm.
