On omega-powers of infinite difference rank

It is proved that there exists a language $L$ such that its $\omega$-power has infinite rank in the difference hierarchy of open sets. The same holds for the decreasing difference hierarchy of ${\mathrm{\Pi }}_2^0$ sets.
