Concave transforms and volumes of adelic line bundles

We study the relationship between the integrals of Yuan’s concave transforms and the characteristic volumes of adelic line bundles on projective varieties. We establish an identity in dimension one and an inequality in higher dimensions. These results yield counterexamples to an identity conjectured by Yuan.
