Using (2.712±0.014)×109 ψ(3686) events collected by the BESIII detector at the BEPCII collider, the ψ(3686)→γppˉπ+π−π0 process is investigated. Evidence for the decay of ηc(2S)→ppˉπ+π−π0 is found with a signal significance of 3.3σ. The product of branching fractions of B[ψ(3686)→γηc(2S)]×B[ηc(2S)→ppˉπ+π−π0] is determined to be (3.4±0.5±0.8)×10−6, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second systematic. The hadronic decays of χcJ→ppˉπ+π−π0 (J=0,1,2) are observed, and their branching fractions are measured to be B(χc0→ppˉπ+π−π0)=(4.79±0.01±0.40)×10−3, B(χc1→ppˉπ+π−π0)=(2.13±0.01±0.17)×10−3, and B(χc2→ppˉπ+π−π0)=(3.72±0.01±0.29)×10−3, respectively. Furthermore, the branching fractions for the intermediate processes χcJ→ppˉω are updated with significantly improved precision: B(χc0→ppˉω)=(5.76±0.01±0.42)×10−4, B(χc1→ppˉω)=(1.85±0.01±0.13)×10−4, and B(χc2→ppˉω)=(4.51±0.01±0.33)×10−4, respectively.
